Scallops Parmesean Crusted Panko Breadcrumbs


  • 1lb Scallops about (8-10)

  • Taste Salt and Pepper

  • Taste Seafood seasoning such as Old Bay

  • ½ cup Grated or Powered Parmesan Cheese

  • 2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs

  • Flour for dusting

  • 1 Egg

  • 3oz Milk or cream

  • 3oz Oil


Set up standard breading procedure with egg wash (milk and egg), flour and mix together the parmesan and Panko bread crumbs. Bread the scallops starting at the egg wash and finishing at the breadcrumb mixture. Season the scallops and place the scallops in a dish or plate.

**Tip, use one hand for the wet section and keep one for the hand dry sections while breading.

Using a large skillet add the oil and preheat so the oil is not but not smoking.

Add the scallops to the oil, the oil should be had that its starts bubbling immediately.

Cook the scallops for about 2 minutes per side and nice and golden brown
