Fish & Chips


  • 2lbs Haddock Fillets cut into 2in strips

  • 1jar Metropolitan Market Tartar Sauce

  • 1 your choice of Alexia Sweet potato fries or Yukon Fries

  • Canola or vegetable oil for frying


  • 1 Bottle Beer

  • 2 Egg whites whipped to soft peeks

  • 1½cup Flour

  • Taste Salt and pepper

  • 1sp Cayenne pepper

  • 2stp Paprika



Mix together batter ingredients and dip haddock pieces into the batter.

In a deep sided skillet add about 11/2inches of the oil and heat until hot but not smoking about 370*F

Following the directions on the bag of fries add to a preheated 425*F oven and cook for about 20 minutes.

Add the haddock pieces and cook for about 2 minutes per side or until nice and golden brown and cooked through

Remove from the skillet and place on a wired rack to drain and season with salt and pepper.

Serve with the fries and tartar sauce
